The Art of Motion
The Art of Motion
INFO
The Art of Motion invites you into a world where the heavy permanence of bronze meets the fleeting grace of a moment in transit. In this curated selection of sculptures, Ada Da Silva explores the delicate tension between strength and vulnerability, motion and stillness—capturing the precise instant where movement is suspended in time. Her elongated forms and sail-inspired silhouettes evoke the poetry of balance, freezing fleeting emotions within the enduring medium of bronze. Rooted in classic elegance yet distinctly modern, each work reflects a moment of surrender and control, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect.
Rooted in classic elegance yet distinctly modern, each sculpture reflects a moment of surrender and control, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect. The timeless bronze works, inspired by emotion and movement, create a profound dialogue with design and performance. Poetic and aspirational, they stand beautifully alongside the iconic automobiles and world-class collectibles of RM Sotheby’s—a setting where art, legacy, and luxury converge.
BOOKING & CONTACT
Alongside the installation, Ada’s sculpture Meditation from The Emotions Series will be auctioned off to benefit the life-changing work at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. This specific work is finished in authentic Ferrari automotive red paint, created in partnership with Ferrari Fort Lauderdale. This choice creates a visceral point of contrast where high-speed heritage meets the silent stillness of the bronze figure.
This exhibition also marks a significant debut in Ada’s practice, her first exploration of color. In a bold departure from tradition, she utilizes authentic Ferrari automotive red paint. This choice creates a visceral point of contrast, where the high-speed heritage of the Ferrari brand meets the silent stillness of the bronze figure. The bold color provides a striking counterpoint to her delicate forms, juxtaposing the motion of the automotive world with the quiet contemplation of fine art.
The Emotions Series explores the intersection of the human form and the complexity of our inner lives. From the exuberant, playful energy of Joy to the quiet introspection found in The Thinker, these twelve bronze sculptures turn fleeting feelings into lasting monuments. Each work reflects a delicate tension between strength and vulnerability, capturing the precise instant where movement is suspended in time.
